Looptworks are giving rescued leather seat covers from planes a second life by turning the material into carry-on bags and accessories instead of parking your butt on.
Looptworks Carry-On Collection is made from leather airline seat covers rescued from Alaska Airlines.
The brown leather collection includes messenger bags, tote bags, wallets and laptop sleeves.
By upcycling, the Looptworks Carry-On Collection saves an estimated 1,500 gallons of water per product, which would otherwise be required to produce a new leather bag.
The Oregon-based company go the extra mile to “use less, make more”. Looptworks rescue high-quality materials left over from premium good manufacturers and turn waste into beautifully designed products.
Looptworks products are unique and given the production process, the items are limited edition and all hand-numbered.
