Yussef Kamaal’s Black Focus

Yussef Kamaal’s unique blend of jazz-funk finally gets a 45 release next week with their debut album, Black Focus.

Bringing together the talents of multi-instrumentalist and electronic wizard, Kamaal Williams, otherwise known as Henry Wu, and drummer, Yussef Dayes, Black Focus takes inspiration from ‘70s jazz-funk circa Herbie Hancock or the Mahavishnu Orchestra, and the drum programming of Kaidi Tatham.

Yussef Kamaal’s Black Focus is out on 4 November on Brownswood
