Yeo Valley have turned leftover plums into a limited edition yogurt, Plum & Custard, in an effort to raise awareness of food waste.
Using surplus plums that might otherwise have gone to waste, Yeo Valley have created the Plum & Custard yogurt with what they call “Left-Yeovers”.
Yeo Valley’s Plum & Custard Left-Yeovers yogurt, which is being sold exclusively in Tesco stores, set out to raise awareness among consumers to be creative with their leftovers in order to reduce food waste.
Yeo Valley are donating 10p from every pot sold to FareShare, a charity aimed at tackling food waste and UK hunger.
