Eco-friendly speaker systems

Infusing environmentally friendly practices into your everyday routine is a great way to start living more sustainably, and these eco-friendly speakers are perfect for tech enthusiasts who just can’t seem to part with their sounds. Here’s my top speakers for all different types of music enthusiasts.

Not only do House of Marley have versatile speakers, they have incredible sound quality too. House of Marley have a range of speakers for the “at home listener” all the way through to the “run around listener.” Another great thing about the House of Marley speakers is you can get speakers with or without Bluetooth. Their prices range from the cheap (£14.99) to the more expensive (£179.99), depending on what you are looking for.

ecobeatEcobeat provides one of the most eco-friendly speakers I have come across. To do this, they have used one of the most natural and abundant resources out there, bamboo. They have three different speakers for each of your needs – ranging from portable to room storing. They have amazing sound quality and are reasonably priced. All speakers are also Bluetooth.

bose energy efficient seriesAnybody who is familiar with the Bose brand will know that their products produce phenomenal sound. They are not strictly an eco-friendly brand as such, but as far as in-car audio systems, Bose is the one brand producing and championing energy efficient technologies.

For their automative range, the Bose Energy Efficient Series automotive sound system uses smaller, lighter components and 50% less energy than comparable Bose systems. It is evident that Bose are innovators in audio technologies, so I hope to see Bose putting their energy efficient technologies to use in their home speaker system units in the near future.

  1. Thanks Zarina. This is really useful information. It would be really great if audio tech companies could integrate more sustainable design and materials into their product development. I agree with you about Bose – the sound quality is second-to-none so I’d love to see such companies be as leading edge as they are about audio technology with developing eco-friendly products too. Collaborations between companies such as House of Marley and Bose say would be a great too
