Wind River: Thriller centres on a murder investigation in a Native American Reservation

Wind River is a new thriller which sees an FBI agent team up with a veteran game tracker to investigate a murder on a Native American reservation.

Directed by Sicario and Hell or High Water screenwriter Taylor Sheridan, Wind River is set in the Wyoming wilderness where a teenage girl has been murdered in the Wind River Indian reservation.

Jeremy Renner stars as Cory Lambert, the local game tracker who discovers the woman’s body in the snow, and Elizabeth Olsen plays Jane Banner, the straight-talking FBI agent assigned to the case.

Wind River, the directorial debut from Sicario writer Taylor Sheridan, also features an organ soundtrack from Nick Cave and Warren Ellis.

Wind River is released in cinemas on 4 August
