Thandai is a refreshing and energising chilled almond-flavoured drink that can be enjoyed in the summer months to keep you cool.

The Indian drink, which is traditionally associated with festivals like Mahashivratri and Holi, is energising and has numerous health benefits given its key ingredients of spices, milk and nuts.

A traditional Thandai, native to Rajasthan and northern India, typically includes watermelon seeds, rose petals, peppercorn, fennel seeds, almonds, cardamom, saffron and milk.
