Thought Clothing: Conscious-wear for women and men

Conscious fashion brand Thought Clothing is helping women and men dress stylishly sustainably.

The fashion brand offers a range of classic clothes for both women and men in a variety of sustainable fabrics including bamboo, hemp, wool, recycled polyester, and tree-friendly tencel which was once wood.

Thought Clothing’s collections can be bought online via their website. Featuring classic cuts for women including tunics, wraps and long cardigans, Thought Clothing’s range is simple, contemporary and classic.

The menswear range is equally as stylish and classic, including a range of grandpa- style shirts and cotton chino-style trousers.

Thought Clothing started life in Australia as Braintree Clothing – a capsule collection of men’s shirts and beachwear made of sustainable ramie and hemp – in the late 1990s.

With a team of 30 people, Thought Clothing is now based in north London, and its collections are stocked in more than 1,000 shops worldwide.

We’re still a small business; with around 30 of us working at our offices in North London. We all work together as a team to help build and grow a very exciting future.

Thought Clothing say: “Creating Thoughtful Clothing alone isn’t enough. We value doing the right thing and want to feel good about everything we touch. That means we work ethically. From the fabrics we use, to how we design and make and deliver our garments. We think about every impact our business has. And it’s with the greater aim of minimising our environmental footprint.

“The clothes we love wearing most will last longer with good care. Which is why we created our mantra. “Wear me, love me, mend me, pass me on.” It’s a reminder to look after what we own.”
