Japanese artist Chie Hitotsuyama breathes new life into paper waste by creating lifelike sculptures of animals from it.
In her grandfather’s old paper-braiding factory in Japan, she uses braiding techniques to roll and twist old newspaper into intricate shapes, which then take on animal form further along in the process.
