B Creative Festival: Young women’s art fest focuses on what it means to be a woman

B Creative Festival is a fest of “arts activism” – featuring original theatre, dance, spoken word, music, and photography – created and curated by young women for young women.

Taking place across venues in Islington from today (Thursday 23 August) through to Friday 24 August, B Creative Festival shares the work of a group of young women, aged 16-25, which focuses on power, strength and what it means to be a woman.

The festival explores and expresses the issues that matter to young women now – offering new insights, perspectives and voices, which aim to “change the conversation… and maybe the world!”.

B Creative was devised by All Change, an arts organisation which delivers arts projects in community settings. All Change works to develop and promote the role of the arts in society by bringing artists and communities together to develop original and innovative arts projects, which promote artistic excellence and affect positive change for individuals and communities.
