Gardening With Children is an interactive classroom, allotment plot, and hobby garden with the aim to teach children about gardening and how to grow your own.
A resource for schools and parents, Gardening with Children includes games for children from the ages of 5-9; fact sheets for teachers to use in classrooms; and gardening suggestions for parents to do with their children.
Gardening is a healthy and affordable way for children to learn and have fun at home, school or a community allotment. Research suggests children perform better at school if they’re involved with gardening and many will develop a greater interest in healthy eating if they get to grow their own veg.
Gardening With Children is part of Gardening Works, a manufacturer of wooden raised beds, compost bins and gardening supplies. dedicated to encourage children to take up gardening and especially learn how to grow their own food.
