The EcoGarden, a combination of a smart miniature greenhouse and a self-cleaning aquarium, is a smart interactive ecosystem capable of growing a variety of fresh herbs and veggies all year round.
Created by Swedish-based business Ecobloom, The EcoGarden was developed to “reconnect people with nature and empower them to grow smarter” by combining technology and nature in a seamless way. The smart ecosystem enables growers to monitor and control the whole growing process, from seed to harvest, remotely.
Using the process of aquaponics, The EcoGarden works by you feed the fish, the fish then feed the plants as the fish waste provides nutrients for the plants, and the plants naturally filter the water for the fish. The EcoGarden requires no soil or chemical fertilisers, and it’s totally free from pesticides.
Designed for ease of use for even the least green-fingered of people, with its integrated sensors and innovative technology, The EcoGarden acts on its own, or reacts to instructions.
The EcoGarden is available to pre-order.
