Multi-sensory lifestyle brand, Earl of East London, has channelled the ancient Japanese forest bathing ritual of Shinrin-Yoku, to create a luxurious bath salt in its honour.
Shinrin-Yoku or “forest bathing” is a Japanese ritual that involves taking in the forest atmosphere to promote wellbeing. Its health benefits include lowering heart rate, reducing stress, boosting the immune system and improving overall wellbeing.
Earl of East Bath Salt Shinrin-Yoku is a blend of dead sea salt and epsom salt, which are infused with an aromatic and earthy blend of cedarwood and black pepper. It can be used both in a bathtub or as a scrub in the shower, to promote relaxation.
Cedarwood and black pepper are both known for their magical properties which include banishing negativity and protection.
With a unisex scent, Earl of East Bath Salt Shinrin-Yoku makes an ideal Xmas gift for both men and women.
Earl of East London’s collection also includes hand poured candles, made of eco soy wax, all of which are made in their Hackney studio. Founders Niko Dafkos and Paul Firmin state: “Our mission is defined in 4 key elements: Curate, Create, Collaborate and Community”.
Earl of East London Bath Salt Shinrin-Yoku, RRP £24 for 500g, is available online from Earl of East London
