Head to BICBIM’s Christmas pop-up for some last minute gifts of the ethical kind

If you have yet to do your Christmas gift shopping, no sweat. Head down to BICBIM’s pop-up shop in Old Street underground station for a selection of ethical gifts.

The pop-up store, which opens on Monday 17 December through to Saturday 22 December, is the perfect place for conscious shoppers to grab a gift to cover all tastes including fairtrade chocolates, alcohol, accessories, pet accessories, candles, coffee gifts, and fashion essentials.

Among the Christmas offerings at BICBIM’s London pop-up is fairtrade liquer from specialists, FAIR. – the French distillery’s whole range was created with one goal in mind: to ensure the people producing ingredients for spirits get paid a fair wage. An interesting range of liquers include acai, kumquat, pomegranate, cacao and cafe.

There’s also jewellery from Made, which is handcrafted by dedicated Kenyan artisans. Elvis & Kresse, who make bags and accessories from reclaimed fire hoses, also feature in BICBIM’s Christmas collection.

And for pet lovers, there’s collars, leads, jumpers and bandanas from ethical pet brand Hiro + Wolf for cats and dogs.

BICBIM, which stands for Because It’s Cool Because It Matters, says: “Every company has been independently recommended and researched by professionals looking for the truth behind clever marketing and confusing labels, so you can be confident you are buying the best.”
