DIY Natural Dyes for Easter Eggs

Easter is a great time to get craftsy at home with your kids. This year try something different and use natural dyes, made from a few simple ingredients that you may already have in your fridge or spice cabinet.

From red cabbage, turmeric, spinach, coffee, there are numerous foodstuffs that you can use to give your easter eggs a natural hue. Note that red cabbage will dye easter eggs a blue colour.
