Nature Volunteers: New resource matches volunteers with conservation projects across the UK

Nature Volunteers is matching those with an interest in giving nature a helping hand with local conservation projects across the UK.

The website, which is led by Dr Anita Diaz from Bournemouth University, initially launched in summer 2018 with local projects in Bournemouth.

It has since grown to include conservation projects such as beach clean-ups, plant and wildlife surveys, wetland restoration and kids wildlife activities taking place across the UK who are seeking volunteers.

Anyone can search for nature-based projects in their area based on their search criteria, while conservation organisations can also add new projects to the website.
