Hair needs an extra boost of TLC during the winter months as the cold wind outdoors and central heating indoors can deplete your hair and scalp’s natural moisture levels. To give your hair a tonic, make your own warm oil treatment at home.
The below video uses three different base oils including olive oil, jojoba oil and coconut oil, but of course you can adapt teh recipe to suit you as you may want to use just one oil or two. You can also give the base oils a punch by adding essential oils that benefit the hair and scalp including rosemary essential oil and peppermint oil.
Warm oil allows for better absorption of oil into skin pores and the hair shaft than cold oil. You can use a warm oil treatment on your hair and scalp once a week.
