Pancake Day: Pancakes from Around the World

It’s Pancake Day! Pancakes, just like bread, are a part of many cuisines from around the world.

There’s everything from the French Galette made from buckwheat flour; fluffy, leavened pancakes made from buttermilk which is the American signature pancake; Malaysia’s coconut palm sugar pancakes; Japanese Dorayaki pancakes filled with red bean paste; Ethiopian Injera pancake with its sour taste; Japanese Okonomiyaki; through to the Indian Dosa, to name but a few.
