The “Mangrove Master” bringing Sri Lanka’s mangroves back to life

Douglas Thisera, known as the Mangrove Master, has helped plant 2 million saplings in Western Sri Lanka in efforts to bring the mangroves back to their former glory.

Douglas Thisera has spent the last 16 years replanting and conserving mangroves in his district.
