Multidisciplinary artist Dan Leo brings graphical representations of much loved wildlife to life with bold colours, pattern elements, and heavy line work.
The Ireland-based artist, who has a strong connection to nature in both animal and plant forms, creates colourfully vivid paintings of animals including a rhino, tiger, cat, sloth, fawn, and koala, alongside some of the most revered magickal beings such as dragons.
Dan Leo’s artworks range from digital illustration to large scale mural work but he is better known for his brushwork on canvas.
Describing his animal paintings, Dan Leo says: “I use shape and colour to emphasise the flow of the body while also abstracting the subject.”
