Pallite launch pop-up desk made from 100% recyclable cardboard

Pallite, an environmentally-friendly packaging company, has created a pop-up, honeycomb-board paper desk to aid home-workers and schoolers struggling for space at home.

The Northamptonshire-based business quickly pulled together a pop-up desk design that enables homes to quickly be transformed into offices. Seizing the opportunity to help others who are in the same situation as them, Pallite added the pop-up desks, as well as a junior version for children aged 3 to 8, to their range of transit packaging and warehouse storage solutions.

The eco-friendly desks, which weigh less than 3.6 kg and can be assembled in less than a minute, are strong enough to comfortably hold 50kg, making it ideal as a workspace in any room. At the the end of the day, it can be packed away under the bed or behind the sofa. If the desk is no longer needed, they are 100% recyclable so can be put in normal household recycling bins, just like cardboard.

The desk range by Pallite starts at just £21.99.
