Recipe: Sweet Potato Crisps

Are you in search of a healthy snack that tastes good, is packed full of vitamins and minerals, and is a good source of fibre? Then sweet potato crisps ranks high on the snack list.

Sweet potatoes contain numerous vitamins and minerals including iron, calcium, selenium, and are also a good source of B vitamins and vitamin C. They are also high in beta-carotene, which gives sweet potato their characteristic orange colour. An antioxidant, beta-carotene is effective at raising blood levels of vitamin A.

Sweet potato crisps/chips have become readily available in grocery stores, but they are also just as easy to make yourself at home, which you can then season with whatever flavouring – whether its salt, herbs or if you can get your hands on bacon flavour seasoning.

The below video shows you how to make sweet potato chips and dip.
