Build A Better Earth has created an all-natural and non-toxic odour reducing composting powder.
BinBreeze is a composting powder made from a mixture of minerals and wood waste from BC’s Timber industry.
By upcycling this wood waste returning it to the soil, it reduces Earth’s soil-carbon debt while improving compost quality. It also helps close the loop by reusing materials that would otherwise be burnt and contribute to climate change.
The idea is that the composting powder is sprinkled over fresh food waste to eliminate odours.
BinBreeze – which comes in two fresh scents including lavender and holiday, as well as unscented – also provides oxygen-rich layers of moisture-absorbing carbon in the compost bin.
BinBreeze is the founding product from the Canadian sustainable technology social enterprise, Build A Better Earth, whose vision “is of an environmentally empowered and sustainable consumer, living within a thriving circular economy”.
