Oral care brand ROCC Naturals has launched a range of natural, vitamin enriched toothpastes in biodegradable tubes, in what is being touted as “Australia’s first biodegradable toothpaste tube”.
Every year 1,500,000,000 toothpaste tubes enter landfill, and live on for 500 years. Now ROCC Naturals are changing that with its offering of biodegradable tubes that break down in 6-10 years.
ROCC Naturals products are thoughtfully design for maximum results with minimal impact on the earth. In addition to the biodegradable tubes, the toothpaste cap and boxes are fully recyclable.
Using natural ingredients such as mint, green tea and coconut oil, as well as the highest, natural form of Vitamin B12, ROCC Naturals toothpastes contain no nasty chemicals nor extreme flavours.
ROCC Naturals is the brainchild of Melbourne-based Prue Rocchi. Conscious of what she was putting into her body, the ROCC Naturals-founder switched from a chemical-loaded paste to a natural paste whilst pregnant, but found the product choice in Australia limited. So she decided to fill the gaping hole in the market herself while making sure that her product line was just as good for the environment, as it was consumers’ personal health.
