It’s National Burger Day in the UK this Friday [27 August 2021].
Now in its eighth year, UK National Burger Day has been become an institution for both restaurants and burger-lovers to come together to celebrate and enjoy the popular hamburger.
UK National Burger takes place every year on 27 August. Every year participating restaurants give their patrons 20% off their chosen burger selection. London also hosts a burger-themed event on the day.
The US’s most popular sandwich has a rich history, although there is no one origin of the hamburger. Check out the video which explores the hamburger’s various origins.
