The Dutch city of Utrecht has added a 28 metre-high bee hotel to its roster of bee-friendly environments in a bid to help protect the bees. Netherlands city transforms bus stops into bee stops with plant-topped roofs

The roofs of more than 300 bus stops have been transformed into a plant haven for bees in the city of Utrecht, the Netherlands. Covered with mainly sedum plants, which are succulents that can help purify the air, the 316 bus stops are now attracting honey bees and bumblebees, as well as butterflies.
